"Stop calling us a wedding venue."

Here’s the problem:

Weddings are short-term cash, not long-term community value.

They create seasonal spikes, not sustainable year-round visitation.

They reduce farms, gardens, and unique properties into a backdrop instead of living, breathing experiences.

Our bet? Hospitality’s future in regional Australia isn’t in weddings at all. It’s in food provenance, wellness, farm-to-table dining, education, and authentic experiences that make people want to come back every season.

That’s what we’re building. And yes, it’s harder than chasing the quick fix. But it’s also more rewarding for the region, the producers, and the guests.

So here’s my hot take:
The most sustainable hospitality businesses over the next decade will be the ones that don’t rely on weddings.

Ps. Just because you've seen a few "weddings" on our properties doesn't make it a wedding venue. 99% off our business is made up of the above.
