few characters in the hardcore universe have dedicated as much to the culture, and his impressive biography is worth to check out too:

I was born 16.11.1980 in Hamburg, Germany.
Got into the whole techno madness thing during the 90s.
Apart from Hardcore & Gabber, I was always interested in, and producing other styles of music too, like dark ambient, krautrock, breakcore, chip sounds, contemporary classical....

some of the stuff i did:

-I had my first vinyl releases in the late 90s and early 2000s, on labels like Blut, Praxis, Black Monolith, or Widerstand.
-i ran a hamburg-wide radio show (real radio, not online) called „hamburg hardcore radio“. plenty of guest DJs showed up and label specials were aired.
-played countless of gigs, all over germany, in the netherlands, at tresor, at parades...

-produced over 300 releases for free and commercial labels. from drone and minimal techno, industrial doomcore and hard acid, to speedcore and noise.
-running a magazine called „the hardcore overdogs“ that focuses on weird hardcore releases and the electronic music scene in general. with DJ interviews, video features, and much more.

-running three digital labels: doomcore records, slowcore records, and omnicore records

KHORR2

Born amidst the weekly clamour of the docks at their peak, and introduced at a very early age to the southern free scene and Meta, KHORR2 has developed an underground, radical and old-school approach to sound.

Disillusioned by the decline of the local hardcore scene, he waited years before stepping behind the decks. Armed with a setlist tailor-made for massive soundsystem, he burst onto the scene with a mature and cutting-edge sound. In the wake of this, he co-founded deviens.sour, with a single mission: to bring HARDCORE sounds back to MARSEILLE.

Hardkore, freetek, speedcore… or even jungle, noise or XP: he draws on everything to draw you into his unique world, which is at once tribal-trippy, industrial and monotonous.

DJ RAXFU

Since 1995, DJ RAXFU has found his path in Hardcore and began building a vinyl collection. He developed his underground culture by attending numerous rave parties where he saw the major figures of the hardcore techno scene perform. He played his first DJ sets in 1997 and in 2002 founded the iconic Harakiri collective, which helped organize many hardcore events. For the past five years he has been producing unique mixes for the Trip-P Records label.

DJ RAXFU‘s sets are explosive and have firmly established him at the forefront of today’s hardcore techno scene. His early style mixes, inspired by Dutch Gabber, are frenetic and brutal but infused with a distinctly French spirit that gives them their originality.

A true journey through the French rave party era of the 1990s to today’s apocalyptic and brutal sounds, DJ RAXFU’s sets continue to influence hardcore techno culture.
