The five smallest countries in Africa, based on total land area, are all island nations:
- Seychelles 🇸🇨
- São Tomé and Príncipe 🇸🇹
- Comoros 🇰🇲
- Mauritius 🇲🇺
- Cape Verde 🇨🇻
Additionally, the smallest country on the African mainland is hashtag 🇬🇲.
