Warm greetings. Guess what, its June already and we are left with only six months to achieve our 2024 goals. How far have you gone? Have you at least achieved your short-term goals, or you are still figuring out what to focus on? “Stand up and finish what you have started” – Bob Harper
Last week l had an opportunity to attend a Wedding Planning course facilitated by The SA School of Weddings (SASWE).
The classes were fruitful. We were taught the ins and outs of how to plan not just weddings but any event.
We also had an opportunity to learn from and interact with Zimbabwe’s finest wedding and event planner Kevin Wedding Planner.
Some of my key takeaways were:
*Importance of time management in the industry.
*Being open to new ideas.
*As an event planner, you need to use your creativity to bring a vision to life.
I`m looking forward to the next six months, to accomplish my remaining short term goals and a few long term goals. Above all, learning and networking with people in the industry and external others for my personal development.
