“In a marquee in the lush gardens of and every wedding breakfast table had a song dedicated to their joyous journey of married bliss (your table had to get up and dance if the DJ played it ) and gorgeous partly edible centerpieces inspired by their love of home-grown, organic fruit and vegetables.
From apples to snack on, unwaxed citrus fruits to squeeze into your drinks and my personal favourite, mazhanje, completely indigenous to Zimbabwe, to indulge in or try out, the centerpieces were paired perfectly with locally sourced flowers and bushery to match the theme of a modern twist on their Southern African celebration.
And individual cakes for the table instead of dessert... yes please!
What a day it was!” -
