MTN Celebrates Excellence at the 2025/2026 MTN Super League Awards
MTN Zambia proudly hosted the 2025/2026 MTN Super League Awards, a night dedicated to honouring the players, coaches, officials, media practitioners and fans who made the season truly unforgettable.
The event brought together key stakeholders from football and government, with remarks led by the Guest of Honour, Hon. Kangwa Chileshe, Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts. He was joined by Mr. Lawrence Mwanza - Permanent Secretary – Copperbelt Province, Mr. Keith Mweemba (FAZ President), Mr. Joseph Chimpamwe - CEO, Zambian Premier League, Mr. Elias Chembe - Chief Home and Special Projects Officer, MTN Zambia and Mr. Aaron Simumba - Acting Chief Commercial Officer, MTN Zambia.
In his keynote address, Hon. Kangwa Chileshe commended the continued growth of the MTN Super League, noting its important role in uniting communities, inspiring young people and contributing to the development of football in Zambia.
Other speakers echoed similar sentiments, emphasising the value of strong partnerships in driving the growth of the game and creating more opportunities for local talent to thrive.
The evening also celebrated outstanding individual performances, with Albert Kangwanda (Red Arrows) named Player of the Season, Moses Shumah (Power Dynamos) crowned Top Goal Scorer with 21 goals, and Given Kalusa (FC MUZA) recognised as Young Player of the Season.
