We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was indeed a packed one, Boxing bout at Government Complex and the Ncwala in Chipata (next time warriors get us Malawai..lol)
Projects like this take a lot of detailed planning to execute and have both direct and indirect impact on the economy. Take for instance the Ncwala, with organizing budgets of over K3 million, Chipata as the destination would have greatly benefited if local players positioned themselves to harness the opportunities of supplying goods and service to the event. Its more of a reason the government has prioritized the MICE sector in the ministry of tourism and more destination focused marketing needs to be developed. Zambia Tourism Agency has an office directly looking into this. Indirect benefits of this included the complete booking out of all accommodation facilities in the city, food and leisure packages were highly consumed.
Having realized this potential, CCC was set up to positively contribute to the development of the country by creating and implementing platforms upon which industry best trends can be shared and showcased. We do this by tirelessly researching on the challenges in a sector, identifying solutions others have used to overcome it and eventually creating a platform where all the key stake holders can come to a consensus for the future. We have basically done work in all the sectors of the Zambian economy. We will slowly share past and present projects to highlight the impact they have had on the country, region and the globe.
