It is really so special having your closest girls beside you on your wedding day. Sisters, best friends, childhood friends, the women who know you best and get to stand beside you for one of the biggest moments of your life.

As Women’s Month begins, I wanted to celebrate the incredible women I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside over the years.

Every bride has her own story, her own journey and her own quiet strength. It is one of the greatest honours of my career to witness those stories unfold.

Chicara is one of those brides I’ll always remember.

She carried herself with such grace, embraced every moment with genuine joy, and was completely present with the people she loves most. There was a beautiful calmness about her throughout the day that touched everyone around her.

Watching her marry Claud, surrounded by family, friends and one of the most incredible atmospheres, reminded me that the heart of every wedding is never the flowers, the tables or the details.

It’s the people. 🤍

Throughout August, I’ll be sharing some of the remarkable women behind the weddings we’ve had the honour of planning, celebrating their stories, their love and the moments that make each wedding unforgettable.

A little Women’s Day appreciation for the moms. 🫶🏻

I absolutely LOVE watching the moms on a wedding day. Helping with the dress, fixing the veil, trying not to cry (or just crying 😂), calming the nerves and taking in the fact that their little girl or boy is actually getting married. 🤍

We get to see so many of these moments behind the scenes and I don’t think they’ll ever get old.

Looking through these photos also made me think of my own mom, so obviously I had to sneak a photo of us in here too. 🥹 The woman who has backed me through absolutely everything, including this little business that has somehow become such a huge part of our lives. 🤍

Happy Women’s Day to all the moms, grannies, mother figures and all the incredible women we get to meet through what we do.

You really are such a special part of the day. 🌸🤍

One of the greatest joys of what we do is seeing our couples celebrate in places that feel meaningful to them.

Sharing incredible food, listening to heartfelt speeches, laughing until the candles burn low... these are the moments people remember long after the wedding day.

This celebration was filled with so many thoughtful, personal touches, and it was such a privilege to bring it all together.

One of the things we love most is travelling wherever our couples choose to celebrate, creating weddings that feel completely personal to them. 🤍

Some people leave a lasting mark on a business, and Paulina is certainly one of them. 🤍

Over the past few years, she has been part of countless early mornings, long setup days, wedding weekends, lookbooks, timelines and beautiful celebrations.

As she steps into an exciting new chapter, I wanted to take a moment to thank her for all she has contributed to Veil Events and for the role she has played in helping bring so many weddings to life.

Paulina will be joining her fiancé and pursuing her passion for visual storytelling through Bach Films and Dekt Visuals. While she may be embarking on this new venture, I’m grateful that she will still be collaborating with Veil behind the scenes on concept development and creative projects.

Paulina, thank you for your hard work, creativity, loyalty and friendship. We are incredibly proud of you and excited to see where this next chapter takes you.
