What really makes a wedding unique?

It’s the many little details: the colours and décor pieces, menu options and timelines and floral choices… The thousand tiny things that make it all come together in one beautiful picture: a truly memorable celebration for you and all the people you love on the most important day of your love story.

Let us help you with all those little details and decisions, so that all you need to worry about on your wedding day, is enjoying it. Contact Excelsior Weddings for more details on our all-inclusive farm venue in Vlees Bay, just outside Mossel Bay in the Western Cape.

Sometimes, there are ceremonies that just stay with you... And this was definitely one of them. We transformed our rustic farm shed chapel into this gorgeously draped, floral wonderland for Ingrid and Gustav's wedding - and we would do it again in an instant!

Thank you for trusting us with executing your vision for the flowers and décor on your wedding day, Ingrid and Gustav. 🤍

In an industry that is always shifting, developing and surprising, it is such a big honour and just overall lovely to have been nominated as one of the best venues in Mossel Bay🤍. We want to specifically thank the kind souls who nominated us, as we truly take immense joy in being part of each of our couples' special day!

Our weddings have always been very sentimental to us. We work closely with each bridal pair to ensure we execute their vision as accurate as possible. We take great pride in our catering team's more than 20 years of famously top-class food (thank you, Tannie Pam!). We don't do more than one wedding per week, because we want every décor detail to have all the attention and time it deserves, ensuring a stress-free and joyful experience for every bride and groom - which, in the end, is what it's all about.

This is not just another venue and business. This is our home, our life's work, a symbol of our Lord's grace and love that has accompanied our family for generations - even (and especially) through challenging times.

So to all our previous clients, our friends, our Voëlvlei farm family, and to all our amazing regulars at the restaurant, Hansie en Grietjie Padstal: we would really appreciate you voting for us in this year's Best of Mossel Bay competition! You can use this link, and then go and vote for all the amazing businesses in the other categories.
