What about a well-oiled junior rugby league in the Maiva? WESTPAC EVENTS plans are in place to kick off such a league for our boys and girls....soon!

WESTPAC EVENTS has a huge rugby collision lined up for September/October between Progress RFC (Uitenhage) and All Blacks Oudtshoorn right here in the Maiva! Hopefully our authorities can fix a pitch for us! Both clubs will bring along 1st and 2nd teams!

WESTPAC is working hard, busy organising a COMMUNITY CHOIR FESTIVAL in the Maiva! Currently meetings are taking place with the relevant co-ordinators of the planned choirs! Contact was made with the Dept of Sports and Culture, investigating how they can contribute towards this festival...!

DECEMBER 2020, the month during which we were suppose to conduct our Sports Awards, Cultural Awards! As a result of Covid-19, we were crippled and could not completed our annual programme for 2020! Godwilling 2021 will be the year where WESTPAC will turn sports and culture upside down!

MAIVA ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP taking place on the 17 October 2020 @ Victoria West Combined track! Admission: Adults R10, Kids R5, Vechicles R10. Refreshments will be available at the venue. Championship will commence at 09h00!

WESTPAC EVENTS are working hard behind the curtains, doing groundwork! We are indeed very much frustrated, for we are looking forward to working with the community of the Maiva. Once the lockdown will be suspended, WESTPAC will hit the Maiva with a huge soccer tournament! Just to celebrate our freedom...!

WESTPAC EVENTS is currently inactive due to the national lockdown. However, the organisers are hard at work behind the curtains. Once the lockdown has been called off, or at least relaxed, we gonna start with our programmes!
