A thank you before passing on the reins 🐴✨
Some places become more than just a business - they become part of our stories, our hearts, and our lives. Striders is one of those special places!
Over the years, Striders gave us so much more than horses and riding. It gave us friendships, laughter, adventures, challenges, and countless moments that we will treasure forever. ✨
The yard is officially handed over to the new owner and management. From our family, we wish them every success in the future of the clubhouse and in the arenas... May they continue to build on everything that makes this place so special, creating their own wonderful memories and sharing special moments with the horses, riders, families and friends who walk through its gates. May your journey ahead continue to be filled with love, laughter, happiness and joy.
As we bid our farewell, we’d like to personally thank each and every single one of you who has been a part of our story. Words alone could never say thank you enough to all of you who rode with us, partied with us, cried with us, laughed with us, and most importantly, wrote their own story in Striders' book. Thank you. ❤️
We want to say a massive thank you to our incredible groomsmen, Benjamin, Bongani and Ben. A very special thank you to Benjamin, who has been there since the beginning of striders and will continue his work at Striders. He knows our horses better than we know them ourselves! Thank you for your dedication and for always making us smile, Benjamin!
For all the lessons, clinics, bootcamps and pony camps; we say a massive thank you to Robyn. Who spent countless hours teaching lessons, taking such dedicated care of the horses and sparking a passion in those who she taught. Even though she left a few years ago to start her own journey overseas, we will be forever grateful for the foundation she laid, the KM’s her boots have walked in the arena’s and all the special moments she gave the riders.
To the kids who took lessons, attended pony camps or even just joined in for a ride - thank you for the joy, laugher and mischief you all brought to the yard. We will never forget the pony camp days filled with all kinds of activities, learning and arts and crafts! When we think of pony camps we can still smell the apple shampoo we used to wash all the school ponies! 🍏
To those who stabled your 4-legged family members with us, thank you for the trust, the fun, the community, and the camaraderie.
💍To the couples who said "I do" on our property: each and every one of you is a beautiful part of our story, and we’re so grateful for your trust. To the many parties, events, braais and late nights we’ve had in the clubhouse, thank you to everyone for the good times, we enjoyed dancing the night away with you all!🥂
Thank you to those who drove from far to attend our shows, clinics and events.
And finally, we also want to take a quiet moment for all the people, horses, cats, dogs, and animals of all kinds who were a great part of our Striders story throughout the years who are no longer with us. May they all rest in Peace. Your boot, hoof and paw prints remain in the Striders soil forever. 🐾
