Hi everyone, my name is Shermonilay Jassen 🤍
I’m a wife to my wonderful husband, Shaldon Jassen, and a proud mom to three beautiful children.
After taking a sabbatical of 5 years to grow and seek God’s direction for my life, I’ve come to a place of clarity and purpose.
Decor and event planning has always been a gift placed within me. Even after stepping away for five years, that passion never left—it was simply being refined.
Now, I step back into it with deeper understanding, renewed vision, and a heart aligned with God’s calling. What was once paused has now been awakened again—stronger, more intentional, and purpose-driven.
I want to say, it’s okay to start all over again in your profession.
Starting again doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’ve grown, learned, and are choosing to move forward with greater wisdom and purpose.
Don’t despise humble beginnings. Every great story has a quiet start. What feels small today can become something powerful tomorrow.
Be patient with your process. Stay faithful in the little things. Your restart is not a setback—it’s a setup for something greater.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged and pushed me to take the humble steps to start again.
There were moments when I almost gave up hope, but the Holy Spirit revealed something important to me — the delays I experienced were not just external, but were caused by my own continuous excuses and comparisons to the decor market around me.
