A quick route recce for Southern Berg MTB & Trail Running Challenge to Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort Gooderson Leisure Although the area has had some 900mm of rain most of the trails are in fairly good shape. With winter approaching and burning to be done in early June the trails should be in top shape for race day on Saturday 28 June. A big thanks to all the property owners for the support. The 98th Comrades Marathon will be run on Sunday, 8 June 2025. This will be the 49th Down Run, starting at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall and finishing 12 hours later at Durban’s People’s Park, covering an approximate 89km distance.
