Circular Energy installed solar panels at Ikhethelo children’s village and we were asked to cater the launch event.

What a humbling experience, how lucky to be able to witness such an amazing cause!

As usual, I didn’t take may pics but the menu consisted of : cheese and charcuteries skewers; crispy chicken and slaw sliders; beef, mature cheddar and onion jam burgers; a selection of bruschetta; pork, apple & sage sausage rolls and more! We also did little snack packs and packed lunches for the kiddies!

Circular Energy installed solar panels at Ikhethelo children’s village and we were asked to cater the launch event.

Some days there are no functions, other days there are back to back events… that’s just how business goes! I am grateful for each event and I am equally grateful for the breaks inbetween 😅 (mainly used to catch up on admin!)

2 very different events here : the first is a setup with no kitchen so arrived with a lot of the food ready to go or easy to finish up. Everything disposable so the client has an easy cleanup.

The other, a private chef experience where the full meal is prepared, served and cleared by a team on site. From start to finish. Once the any leftovers are transferred to foil containers and put in the fridge, we clean up and and head on our way. Leaving you with full bellies but a clean kitchen!
