Eikenhof Estate is a 3km scenic drive along Fischers Road, just off the Bottelary Road. Centrally located between Stellenbosch and Kuilsriver, the estate is easily accessible, yet tucked away just far enough from the busy main road to make visitors feel like they have arrived in their own private and peaceful hideaway. The estate boasts a brand new wedding venue, aptly named Cape Classique, and can comfortably accommodate up to 80 people in a banqueting set up. The design of the walk way leading from the parking area to the venue is a striking match of wood and stone, creating the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony under a canopy or an ideal spot for welcome drinks or cocktails at sunset. The large indoor fireplace, magnificent chandeliers and beautiful wooden flooring are striking features of this exquisite venue. The four bedroomed guest villa, called the Château, includes an open plan kitchen and dining room as well as a lounge with large indoor fireplace. The guest house can be booked as a self-catering unit or a private chef can be arranged to cater for functions in the dining room or outside on the patio where there is also a fireplace for guests to enjoy. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a delightful combination of earthy tones and luxurious textures, botanical prints and a calming colour palette reflecting the estate’s beautiful setting. The four rooms are named after white cultivars – Chenin, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Riesling. Set slightly higher against the vine-clad hill from the wedding venue and guest house, is the Cellar Conference Centre with four venues, each named after a red grape variety – Merlot, Pinotage, Shiraz and Zinfandel. Adjacent to the conference centre is Cultivar, the estate’s informal function venue with stunning vineyard views from the spacious patio, a lovely green lawn area for the kids to play on, a pizza oven, large indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchen. The Bordeaux Boardroom is also situated in Cultivar and offers an additional, private meeting venue.
