What an amazing gathering of stompers this past weekend.
We are so grateful to each and every one of you for joining us again after several years out the game. We honestly did not know what to expect and are truly thrilled by the outcome.
There were a few issues and you can be assured we take any complaints seriously.
Security: we are aware of the complaints lodged by some patrons about our security team being too strict, forceful or unreasonable. It becomes an extremely fine line to manage on occasion. The security team deals with a variety of issues throughout the event requiring various levels of management and understanding but sometimes they do make mistakes. We have discussed these with them and all we can do is improve our communication and understanding when working together in future. The event was kept safe due to their efforts and there were no reports of theft or fights which we are pleased with. If you have a specific incident you’d like clarity on please inbox us on our page and we shall endeavour to resolve this.
Glass: Our decision to enforce a zero tolerance towards glass bottles was taken because we felt we need to start properly enforcing this rule. We want to keep our party safe by keeping it glass free. If you plan on decanting your alcohol only once you arrive at our ticket gate this not only slows our gate processing down but it leaves an incredible mess which we could do without. Please, it is your responsibility to make sure that you decant your alcohol into a suitable container before you arrive for the event.
