Took a few of my florals out to enjoy alongside these gorgeous fresh peonies.
There’s something so satisfying about seeing paint and petal echo each other.
I’ll be sharing a few of the pieces I pulled out over the next few days ✨🌸

Sometimes, when a little painting feels too personal to tuck away, I create a quiet corner just for it. A small arrangement—books I love, colours that echo the mood, something nostalgic like a vintage frame. These aren’t big curated spaces, just little vignettes that make me pause and smile when I walk by.

Not everything has to go on a wall. Some pieces are meant to sit close.

Unpacking and packing… said no artist ever!
Looking back at my watercolour journey from a few years ago, what a glorious mess! No studio, no clue, just a stubborn will to paint. I still think it was very kind of me to grant my husband about 5 inches of space on this table for his Lego 😂

That chaotic process taught me more about perseverance and determination than I ever realised at the time. 📦 Where did your creative journey begin? A kitchen table? A corner of the garage? I’d love to know!

This piece is called “Growing Sideways.”
Not all growth is upward.
Some of us grow sideways—quietly, slowly, finding our own way through resistance, uncertainty, or stillness.
This piece is the beginning of a new series exploring that kind of growth: subtle, inward, and beautifully unstraightforward.

POV not mixed media but rather mixed passions 🙃 My poor piano every time I paint a few new pieces🤣 It’s my good friend in my pretty art studio. I’m not sure how composers Verdi & Wagner feel about this situation.

“This Side Of Silence” This piece isn’t quite my usual style—but it grew in the quiet, a whisper of mist, memory, and mood.
It might not be for everyone, but I painted it anyway.
Because sometimes, creating isn’t about approval,it’s about exploring the quiet places inside yourself and letting them speak.

What does it stir in you?

The ocean is singing its age-old song… and I seem to be painting trees. I think.
It’s an unfinished piece—just like this moment.
Holiday brushstrokes with a mind of their own.
