is a initiative to raise awareness to the South African events industry that is facing very hard times under the current lockdown regulations. We are ready to take charge and get back to work, but need the recognition of the govt in order to get us working again.

The events industry are lighting South Africa red on the 5th of August to raise awareness for all the people suffering a loss of income over the last 140 days!

I am DTP (Dave Tudor Projects), a freelancer that works in our local and international industry, providing services to the event industry. I stand on the board of the TPSA - the Technical Production and Services Association. I want to make a difference and see our industry grow.

In the wake of the current situation, me and many others like me are beyond knee deep in the s**t and it is a very scary and worrying situation.
Freelancers are the backbone of our industry and are facing the toughest times of our lives ever.
We all need to pull together - and I wish I had the answers to this, in this time of need to help, but I don't.
I have no doubt that we will recover and come out stronger and better once this blows over, but we have no idea when this will be or how long it will take
We need to be strong through unity, and while this hiatus is enforced we need to look at other-ways to ensure our input is of value to make ends meet so that we come out ahead on other side ahead of the curve!

The Jeremy Loops Levitation tour is rolling through Germany. Dortmund tonight and then off to Munich tomorrow for another sold out gig. Biggest audience to date. Winter is in full swing, but the shows are hot, hot hot!

2018 was a good year and 2019 kicks off with a European Tour with Jeremy Loops.
