I'm so grateful for my chaotic weeks and weekends, even though the sleepless nights are killer. But when everything comes together and my clients are happy, I feel like I'm walking on sunshine. I mean, who needs sleep when you're living your dream? I look back at my first cake attempt and just laugh - it was a hot mess. I spent hours baking and icing a simple cake, and my mom's house was covered in blue icing. After 10 hours of trying to put the cake together, I was about to throw in the towel, but then I heard that little voice in my head saying, 'You've got this!' And, man, did I ever. That cake tasted amazing, and the family I made it for was super impressed. All those hours, do-overs, and getting yelled at for making a mess were totally worth it. Now, with my own house, cleaning up the mess is way harder, but it's still worth it. On days like these, when I sit back and look at my work, I'm like, 'Gosh, I've come a long way!' I'm so blessed to have a job that I'm passionate about. When you love what you do, even sleepless nights don't matter. So, a huge thank you to all my amazing clients for your support and for pushing me to be more creative. You guys are amazing!
