I was caught up in a discussion this weekend about what colour combinations work best when decorating with flowers. In my opinion of course, there are no limits... Combine complimentary colors (on opposite sides of the colour wheel, such as yellow and purple) for lots of drama OR use colors right next to each other on the colour wheel (such as pink, orange, red). Anything works. For me, it is the way you add textures and greens/foliage - or a 3rd colour, that makes magic happen! Over the past three weeks, I used a pink and orange combination on two occasions - and just loved the vibrancy... What do you think of such a colour choice?

Look at these fantabulous giant mums downloading at Adene's Farm Flowers in Wolseley. (These were last year's crop. This years crop will be picked at the end of April.)

Last chance to visit the farm is this weekend until spring/summer later in the year.
