The Canyons
An evening of fun (and free dog treats and food giveaways galore!): Eagle Canyon is aiming to set our own official Guinness World Record on Saturday 10 May.
In 2024, 219 dogs (and their human families) attended a special screening of Paw Patrol Movie in Los Angeles. This beat the previous official record, which was set in 2022 (with 199 dogs). Now, Eagle Canyon is aiming to set a new official Guinness World Record! But to do this, there are a number of official guidelines: Firstly, all dogs attending must be a minimum of one year old and must be registered to attend the record-breaking attempt, including breed, age and name. Auditors, Nolands, and veterinary services, vets@home and Johannesburg Specialist Veterinary Centre will be onsite for the duration of the record attempt.
You can register to just attend the record-breaking attempt 18h00 (free), for both the record-breaking attempt and to attend the movie (R100), or (if you are not a dog fan) to just attend the movie (R100) from 19h00. Please note that plenty of time will be given for residents to take their dogs home after the record attempt at 18h00. The movie evening itself will only start at 19h00, for those wanting to attend the movie only.
