Artist Announcement: dj Strat3gy

Well known for blends of underground grooves of the African streets with future tech visions, enhanced by Don’t Look Down, the prolific convergence agency he founded, as well as being partnered with some of the best refined by SA labels.

He has contributed mixes to House Afrika Grooves compilations, shared mixing duties for a Hit Refresh release before uniting with third label partner, Vinny Da Vinci, to see individual mixes combined for release as House Afrika Sessions 8.

A veteran selector with more than three decades behind the mixer, he combines an adventurous taste for the future with a keen awareness of musical roots. His healthy disregard for musical boundaries delivers a defiant personal performance range, with a history of forward-looking appearances in noteworthy company, across multiple genres, in a diversity of musical situations. Non-Club is known for its crisp vinyl edition spinners, and we are honoured to announce our international gracing us for our inter-city SA Tour, Jamie Thinnes from SEASONS RECORDINGS.

We taking Non-Club to KZN, CPT and JHB all awhile Jamie and the supporting Line-up will be spinning wax, for every party under this showcase.

He has been seduced by the intriguing sounds found in the abundant warehouses, loft spaces and odd locations scattered throughout southern California. Jamie forged his unique and captivating sound in a wide variety of Los Angeles environs, from full scale nightclubs to many a dark and dirty after-hours, from sunny beaches to ultra exclusive, all-night house parties.
