What an absolute joy it was to be part of this beautiful couple’s celebration here at De La Mas. From the moment they arrived, Naomi and Henri brought such a calm, kind energy — truly two of the most down-to-earth people we’ve had the pleasure of working with. ❤️

All they wanted was to celebrate their love in a relaxed, authentic way, and that sincerity lit up every corner of the day. Whether it was their heartfelt vows in the Bush Chapel or the laughter that echoed through the House of Mansunè, their love story was written into every moment.

✨Yesterday was nothing short of extraordinary at De La Mas! ✨

We had the immense honour of hosting a BUST sculpture workshop led by world-renowned sculptors Pieter Jooste , Sandro Trapani, and the incredible Danie Nell, who joined us as a surprise guest. 🎨🗿

Guests were treated to a hands-on, soul-stirring experience—molding raw clay into timeless form, surrounded by creative energy and inspiring talent.

To top it off, everyone enjoyed a beautiful light lunch in the tranquil elegance of De La Mas, with the stunning House of Mansune once again proving to be the perfect choice for this creative journey. 🌿🍷

A day of art, beauty, and connection—thank you to everyone who joined us and made it unforgettable!

Ons Storie ...

De La Mas is ‘n ma & dogter span agter die groot blou deure van Pretoria Oos. Suzette, eienaar en chef saam met haar dogter Madelé, koördineerder, admin dame en bemarker.

Hier is ons storie: De La Mas Venue was nog altyd net ‘n droom. Inteendeel, ons droom was nog altyd om in die troubedryf te wees. Of dit nou fotografie, skryfbehoeftes of selfs net koördineering van die dag was. Ons wou by almal se troues betrokke gewees het. Nooit kon ons d**k dat De La Mas ‘n werklikheid sou word nie. In Augustus 2016 het ons die eerste fondasie begin grawe:

Op die 1ste April 2017 het ons, ons heel eerste troue gehad. Net in ‘n saal. Nog geen bruidskamer of Man Cave nie. Die 16de September 2017, 13 maande na ons begin bou het, hou De La Mas ‘n volledige sprokiesdag troue.

In ons wildste drome sou ons nie kon d**k dat De La Mas die perfekte troulokaal vir soveel paartjies daar buite kon wees nie. Ons geniet naweek na naweek die samekoms en geselligheid van gaste. Ons geniet die opbou en opgewondenheid van elke bruid. Ons geniet om te sien hoe bruidsmeisies kan hande saamvat en ‘n sprokiesdag saam die bruid beplan en geniet, ons geniet om die bruid te sien in haar mooi wit trourok, met ‘n glinster in haar oë, soos nog nooit tevore nie, maar meeste van alles: geniet ons om te sien, hoe ‘n man en vrou ewig trou aan mekaar beloof. Hoe hulle mekaar lief het, mekaar opbou en die begin van ‘n lewenslange avontuur begin, voor God en sy kerk.
