Olympic Catering Equipment was founded by Mr Peter Venturas in 1971 in Brakpan, he then opened a factory called Jaguar where he manufactured a large array of Quality Catering Equipment. In 1979 Mr Paul Bailanis and his Wife Yvonne opened The branch in Pretoria West. Together they worked hard and put a new dynamic in Catering Equipment. Between the Brakpan and Pretoria West Branch and the hard work

of George, Paul and Yvonne, they took Olympic to new heights becoming one of the biggest Catering Equipment Suppliers in Southern Africa. In the early 1990's Paul and Yvonne's sons Dimitri and Nicholas Joined the business, starting from the Refrigeration to the Design Departments, the brothers were tought how to run the business in all aspects, from refrigeration, carpentry, accounts, designs to sales, purchasing to Dispatch. Nicholoas now runs the Showroom and General Managment of Olympic. Dimitri runs the repairs and factory.The Borthers have taken Olympic from Strength to Strength using their Knowledge and strengths in the Departments they run. At Olympic we believe that "A product is only as good as the Man Behind it"
