What is your go-to for combating the flu season? Here’s an everything recipe that our head chef, swears by.

Ingredients.
Fresh ginger (about a thumb-sized piece)
2. Fresh turmeric or 1 tsp turmeric powder
3. 1–2 oranges, peeled
4. Half a pineapple, peeled
4. 1–2 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)
5. A pinch of freshly ground black pepper (helps with turmeric absorption)

Instructions:
1. Wash and peel the ginger and turmeric if using fresh.
2. Peel the oranges, and pineapple and cut them into chunks.
3. Add the ginger, turmeric, pineapple,and oranges into a blender or juicer.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Stir in honey and a pinch of black pepper.
6. Pour into a small glass or shot bottle and enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Tip: You can also add a splash of lemon juice for extra zing and vitamin C.
