its a really clean setup, however, I read some reviews of users having this pole (the jack within the pole) stop working and as a result, they have had to connect the Mid/high units directly onto the Subs to finish the gig. Of course this means replacing the pole completely. Some users even went as far as buying extra poles.
On the other hand, the RCF used a normal Speakon cable to connect the Mid/high units to the sub. Not as clean a setup, but less troublesome if you ask me. That is what made me go for the RCF. It was delivered yesterday and boy does it rock. It has plenty of power for my needs. I cannot see it running out of steam in any of the pubs/clubs I do. I would say maximum 150-200 people it would cope with nicely.
Bear in mind if you are a DJ used to carrying 18 inch subs, then there is no comparison. Having said that, for such a Small Box and a 12 inch woofer, it packs a punch. I have a gig tonight and will report back tomorrow. much a quality piece of kit and once you register it you get an added year on top of the two year warranty (HK Audio on the other hand has a standard 5 year warranty). Both extremely good and comparable systems, but I chose RCF. Also within my research I was looking for something made outside of South Africa. RCF is made in Italy and HK is made in Germany.
Price wise DV247 are doing 36 months interest free finance on these. I paid R53,980 for mine but each speaker came with a padded bag plus all stands have their own bags and also both speakers have a trolley that fits onto the bag. That is where I got mine from and it was shipped at 12:03a.m from Germany and delivered in a week. That's quality service.
