On 12 October 2026, Courtney treated her twin sister Megan to a kitchen tea to remember at God’s Gift Events—a beautiful celebration of sisterhood and the bride-to-be.

Vibrant pink and orange blooms, antique lanterns and our peaceful forest setting brought the theme to life.

Our Healthy but Hearty menu, sparkling Mimosa Bar and refreshing Lemonade Bar added delicious touches to a day filled with love.

A Sunday in the forest, dressed in soft linen, candlelight and white roses. 🌿

On 4 October 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful Kitchen Tea at God’s Gift Events. Long tables, glowing lanterns, layers of soft neutral textures and the forest canopy overhead created such a warm, relaxed setting for a very special celebration.

There is something quite magical about gathering the women you love around one table, sharing beautiful food, stories and a little pre-wedding excitement. 🥂

✨ A Forest Soirée to remember ✨

On Friday, 2 October 2026, our forest glowed a little brighter as we celebrated Ann-Marie’s 60th birthday with 100 of her nearest and dearest.

Long tables beneath the trees, hundreds of warm lights overhead, crisp white roses and eucalyptus stretching through the forest... and the wonderful Rocco de Villiers as guest artist, adding that extra bit of magic to an already unforgettable evening. 🎹

Our kitchen served a relaxed family-style feast of Jack Daniel’s slow-cooked brisket, couscous, roasted butternut with sage, and a fresh herb-leaf salad with feta and green apple, finished with a mustard vinaigrette.

And because every birthday deserves a sweet ending, dessert was our God’s Gift sourdough waffle bar, piled high with all the trimmings.

There is something rather special about turning 60 surrounded by good food, beautiful music, family and friends, with the forest as your dining room.

Happy 60th Birthday, Ann-Marie. Thank you for allowing God’s Gift to be part of such a beautiful milestone celebration.

There is something so beautiful about a wedding that feels completely, unmistakably theirs. 🌿

Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest, Louis and Louise celebrated their marriage with a day filled with warmth, personality and the loveliest little details.

Soft blush roses met layers of eucalyptus and greenery, antique lanterns glowed amongst the tables, and touches of deep forest green tied everything together beautifully. From their personalised menus and thoughtful favours to the playful little “shot tying the knot”, every detail told a piece of their story.

But our favourite part will always be the two people at the centre of it all. Two very happy faces, one very special promise, and the beginning of a brand-new chapter.

SJ & Danika | 25 September 2026 🌿

Some weddings are simply beautiful.
And then there are weddings like SJ & Danika’s — the kind that feel deeply personal, full of heart, and impossible to forget.

Set beneath the trees and glowing under the fairy lights, their day was filled with so much warmth, joy and meaning. From the long table in the forest to the beautiful yellow florals, lanterns and eucalyptus, every detail came together so naturally — creating a celebration that felt both intimate and incredibly special.

One of the sweetest touches had to be the coffee favours, a little reminder that their story began with a coffee. ☕

It is these personal details that make a wedding not only beautiful, but truly memorable.

Most of all, what made this day so special was the love that surrounded them — the laughter around the table, the people closest to their hearts, and the quiet magic of two people beginning a new season together.

Our weekend started with the 1st out of 3 Celebrations...

Some celebrations are about the day. Others are about the journey that brought everyone to the same table.

On 24 September, Sharon & Wayne renewed their vows beneath the trees at God’s Gift, surrounded by the people who have shared in the chapters of their lives.

Their guests travelled from across South Africa, and even all the way from Australia, to be part of this beautiful celebration. Truly their dearest, even if not always their nearest. 🌿

A long table filled with flowers, laughter, stories, wonderful food and familiar faces became the heart of the evening as family and friends gathered to celebrate a love still worth choosing, all over again.

Sharon & Wayne, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful occasion. May there be many more chapters, many more shared tables, and many more reasons to celebrate.
