President Emmerson Mnangagwa was honoured to officially open the 116th Zimbabwe Agricultural Show today, held under the theme:

“Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology, and Commerce Converge.” 🌾🇿🇼

The President challenged Zimbabwe to modernise agriculture and called on the private sector to deepen partnerships with the country’s hardworking farmers.

He also urged youth and women to embrace agriculture as both the present and future of Zimbabwe’s economy. Through the Youth Agriculture Entrepreneurs Hub, young people are encouraged to step up, innovate and lead.

Under NDS2, the Second Republic is advancing a clear value-addition agenda: Zimbabwe must no longer export raw materials, jobs and opportunities. The establishment of Special Agro-Processing Zones across all 10 provinces is aimed at ensuring agricultural produce is processed and value-added locally.
