*A Note from Jubilee:*

As you know, things have changed so much around us but I am so pleased that I am still able to bring joy to little faces with a little bit of paint, a brush and loads of enthusiasm.
*Hygiene*
Hygiene has always been a priority for me, but even more so now with everything going on around us. I will stick to protocol as it has been laid out for us (wearing a face mask and sanitising). I have specific hygiene measures in place to ensure a clean, safe environment for each child or adult. I use *Neolife’s Golden cleaning range* to clean and disinfect my face paint kit. Not only is it high quality, giving me (and you) peace of mind that everything is clean, but also Green, so no harsh chemicals to harm little hands and faces or the environment. A definite win win! *Professional Body Paints*
*No, this is not the face paint from the crazy store or what you see at spur (eeeek).*
I use only the highest quality, professional products which are designed for use on the skin. The face paints I use are hypoallergenic and comply with stringent FDA and/or EU cosmetic directives. My preferred brands are:
- Fusion Body Paint
- TAG
- DiamondFX
However, this does not preclude an allergic reaction and we as the face painter will not be liable for allergic reactions to paints. If you or your child has very sensitive skin, or is allergic to a range of common products, please do discuss this before your child is painted. It is always possible to carry out a patch test, or to paint a small design on the hand (where skin is less sensitive) to be on the safe side. Once the paint is dry it will not smudge and or rub off onto clothing unless it is reactivated by water or moisture. It will come off easily with water.
*Removing Face Paint*
The best way to wash off face paint is to use a wet cloth or wet wipes acceptable for sensitive skin. It is not normally necessary to use soap. Slight pigmentation has occurred in the past with some shades of blue or dark green. It is then recommended to use a facial wash or face cleansing wipes; it is not usually a problem though and comes off easily. Our face paints generally wash off clothing very easily. If for some reason you are having trouble, I would suggest Neolifes Golden Home Care range.
*Who can be painted?*
Anyone from 2 years to adults may be face painted. Children of 2 years and younger may be permitted a small design on the hand or cheek with the assistance of the parent or guardian. Young children do not always understand face painting as someone they do not know is doing something to them, which they cannot see! So a small design on their hand may be more enjoyable for them. They can see what is being done, feel in control of the situation, and can look at it and enjoy it for the rest of the day. It is not recommended that a child under the age of 2 years be face painted. If a child is reluctant to have his or her face painted, I will not be able to comply with the wishes of the parent or care giver over the desire of the child. I usually always have a sticker on hand if for some reason the child is unable to have their face painted.
