Congratulations to Lex Mitchell and his Bridge Street Brewery on reaching “finalist” stage of the S.A. National Craft Brewing Championships with two of their products.
Their Celtic Cross Premium Pilsner is a Finalist in the Beer section, and their Bowman Cider is a Finalist in the Cider section.
Bridge Street is the only brewery in the country to achieve finalist status in both categories.
We look forward to welcoming Bridge Street Brewery to the Wharf Street Beer Fest on October 11th, and to sampling their great brews! (PS Winners to be announced on 3 October - Good luck, Lex!).

Chris Heaton is bringing his 4 great Emerald Vale Ales to the Wharf Street Beer Fest on 11 October so we may all have something to thank heaven for!

There are few beer fests with a more scenic location than the Wharf Street Beer Fest on the banks of the picturesque Kowie River and this year the festival is incorporating the river to an even greater extent by accommodating one of our participating breweries on the Lady Biscay a magnificent 60 passenger river cruise boat. which will be moored at the Wharf Street jetty for the duration of the Beer Fest. How Cool is that???
