HERITAGE IS WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND, AND WHAT WE CHOOSE TO CARRY FORWARD.
In 2013, five young people came together with a shared love for Deep House music, meaningful social connections, and the desire to create something different.
The aim was to move away from events that simply plugged in a sound system and hoped the social experience would take care of itself. We believed music matched up with the right decor could do more, it could create a warm environment, bring people together, and activate a deeper sense of social environment.
What started as a gathering among the youth has grown into something much bigger.
For 13 years, CSM Social Party has evolved from a Deep House event into a social movement, a place where generations meet, old friends reconnect, and new memories are created.
Every 24th of December has become more than a date on the calendar. For many of us, it has become a homecoming.
And perhaps that is what heritage truly means:
- It is the music that moves us.
- It is the stories we tell.
- It is the people we grew alongside.
- It is the friendships that survived the years.
- It is the memories created in the same spaces, year after year.
- It is the warmth we create when we come together.
It is something created by one generation and carried forward by the next.
We started this journey as five young people. Today, we stand as part of a community that has grown with us.
This Heritage Day, we celebrate the culture that shaped us, the people who walked the journey with us, and the legacy we continue to build together. 🇿🇦
