Day 3 | UK Garden Hopping ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Day 3 took us to The Newt in Somerset for the last day of the Great Garden Show, and honestly WOW. The scale of it is just vast, filled with magnificent big trees and spectacular vistas at every turn. Absolutely every little detail has been meticulously thought of, and walking through the different sections was like traveling through time, showcasing everything from formal Baroque to classic English country gardening styles. We were incredibly lucky to get a private tour through the grounds, and catching those behind-the-scenes insights was absolutely fascinating. It was the perfect finale to the show, and Iโ€™m feeling so incredibly inspired!

Day 2 | UK Garden Hopping ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Day 2 started off strong with a brilliant visit to ! Anna was so incredibly kind to share her wealth of knowledge, pass along some seeds, and gave us a snippet of what the industry is like over here. Afterward, we wandered into town for a lovely fish and chips lunch before stumbling into a Co-op where we somehow spent a good chunk of the day. I even found some fun new seeds to take home! We wrapped up the afternoon with a walk through the farmlands, and of course, I couldnโ€™t help but sneak a few looks into the gardens we passed along the way. Stay tuned for a very exciting Day 3!

Day 1 | UK Garden Hopping ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Day 1 started off with an absolute bang! Straight off the plane, we headed right into the magic at Furzey Gardens. The sheer scale of the rhododendrons was unbelievable, and we even had a friendly little robin follow us around as we hunted for some of the 40+ tiny fairy houses hidden throughout the grounds. After spotting the iconic wild New Forest ponies and fueling up with a proper pub buttie sandwich, we made our way to Exbury Gardens. It was incredibly impressive, filled with massive, ancient trees, stunning vibrant patches of azaleas & rhododendrons and reflective ponds. We got a true British welcome when the rain started pouring, but it only made the atmosphere more beautiful! Finally, we wrapped up the day with a few hours of driving down to Dorset, where weโ€™ll be for the next few days.
