We're in our draping era – and loving it ✨

Are you dreaming of a breathtaking fabric ceiling installation in fabric or a romantic, flowing backdrop? Let’s talk about what actually goes into making those Insta-worthy moments happen!

A large-scale draping installation isn’t just about pinning up some fabric and calling it a day. It’s an art—and a serious operation! Our team at Muirhead’s Hiring can spend up to three days prepping, carefully measuring, installing wiring, and ensuring every piece of fabric is hung at the right level. Final setting and florals takes a full day, positioning every last fold of fabric and swag of flowers so that it looks flawless from every angle.

And while on the topic of fabric, if you’ve been fabric shopping lately, you know it’s an investment! Covering expansive ceilings and walls requires hundreds of meters of high-quality fabric, which we also clean, store, and maintain to keep it looking pristine for each event.

The result? Absolute show-stopping elegance. But it’s important to understand that professional draping is a skilled job—done right, it stays in place and looks stunning all night long.

If 5000 Maritzburgers Rockil-the-Block with us, we will raise close on R250 000 for KPCA GROUP and our 🌈Madiba Day Project.🌈

Save Hyper and partners challenge citizens, businesses, schools and places of worship to participate in our inaugural ROCK THE BLOCK.

♥️When: Sunday 13 July 2025
💙Time: 8:30am -10am.
💛Where: Save Hyper, Victoria Road.

💚Route: ROCK THE BLOCK starts at Save Hyper on Victoria Road, moves over the colourful Chatterton Rd Bridge, round the Showgrounds, over the bright Chief Albert Luthuli Bridge and back down Victoria Rd to end at Save Hyper.

This 3 km FUN WALK/RUN/ROCK is in lieu of fundraising for our 🇿🇦Madiba Day Project🇿🇦. This year we are focused on reclaiming the historic Duzi Sports Fields with St. Nicholas Diocesan School. A number of community schools and clubs will benefit from the restoration of this fields.
