Its wedding season and we've got some tips to get you going:
Step 1: Plan Your Wedding Budget

Step 2: Choose Your Wedding Venue
Choosing your wedding venue comes hand in hand with selecting your wedding date. Take a look at our wedding venues section where you can search venues by province, town or type. When you have found a selection of wedding venues that you like, book an appointment to go for a viewing so you can see it first hand and also ask any questions you might have. When you think you have found ‘the one’, speak with the venue’s wedding team to find what available wedding dates they have. Once your venue is chosen and your date is confirmed you can start the fun part of planning such as food, fashion and décor.
Step 3: Pick Your Rings
When your venue is booked, the date is set and you’re insured, start to think about your wedding rings. You will be wearing your wedding rings for the rest of your life and they symbolise your eternal and everlasting love, so take your time to choose something that will both match your engagement ring and your own personal taste.
Step 4: The Guest List
When you have your venue chosen and your budget set, you will have idea of the number of people you can invite to your wedding day. Start by making a list of all the potential wedding guests, you may find you need to cut this down when you are finished so put your closest friends and family at the top to make it easier. Step 5: Finding the Wedding Dress

Step 6: Order Your Stationery

Step 7: Your Honeymoon
An exciting thing to start planning next is your honeymoon — think of it as a reward for all your hard work after planning the wedding! Start planning your honeymoon early in case you need to update passports and apply for visas. Step 8: Book Your Suppliers
One of the main suppliers you will need to book is your wedding photographer. Make some time to research a few different photographers and their styles to see if they are right for you. Step 9: Send Your Invitations
When you are ready to send out your wedding invitations, make sure you have all your guests’ details imported into our guest manager tool so you can keep track of who has RSVP’d. Step 10: The Finishing Touches
When you have finished all your planning, make any final checks you need to. Ensure the wedding party each know what their jobs are and confirm with all your wedding suppliers.
