With the dahlia season about to end reflecting back on the season just past - I am so grateful for the lessons learned, the new friends that I have made through my flowers, the "old" friends that have always been my pillars of strength and who have been there through this crazy whirlwind of a journey I embarked upon and the people's lives that I have been able to make just that little bit brighter through sharing my flowers. My heart is full and yet a little but sad that the dahlias now need to go and rest, but I am super excited about the spring flowers that are already in the ground....

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It is not often one gets asked for "very few flowers" at a wedding by the bridal couple but rather "loads of greenery" concept was what Kayla and Dutoit requested for their South African wedding. It was pouring with rain on their wedding day and had been for days prior, so the Ceremony had to be held indoors, but that did not stop the greenery flowing in....
Surayya - thank you for the challenge! It was wonderful working with you and I hope you enjoyed your time in RSA with the family.
