Jonathan has been a chef for thirteen years and has worked in a variety of different environments, from 5* Guest lodges, Hotel Polo Estates, Wine Farms and Luxury Cruise liners. Every inspired taste has been incorporated into this range, from the best olives to the most delicious Chilli Coriander sauce.

Every bottle of Jono's Chilli Coriander Sauce has a story.

It all started with my mom, Rozelle Hains, whose passion for cooking and years in the food industry inspired her to create something truly special. After countless hours combining fresh ingredients and perfecting every batch, she created the recipe we still proudly use today.

My dad, Eric Hains, was her biggest supporter and official taste tester—sampling every batch, whether it was hot, cold, or still bubbling on the stove. The laughter, honest opinions, and memories they shared in the kitchen became just as important as the recipe itself.

Today, as their son, I'm proud to continue their legacy through Jono's – The Chef's Choice. While the recipe remains our family's secret, every bottle is filled with the love, passion, and family spirit that started it all.
