What a week at Cape Town’s iconic Cape Sun! ☀️

Hosting a conference here was such a pleasure — not just because of the stunning views or smooth logistics, but because of the people who make it all happen.

While I was here, I discovered that many of the staff have been part of the Cape Sun family for over 20 years. Two decades of welcoming guests, setting up events, and keeping everything running seamlessly — that kind of dedication really struck me.

Good reminder that no matter the venue, vision, or event — you’re only as good as your team.

When the brief is “Reconnecting, Relaxing, Remembering”, you know it’s going to be special.

For this incredible leadership team, we curated 48 hours of fun, flavour, and unforgettable moments in the heart of Franschhoek .

From the moment the Party Bus rolled out, the energy was electric — laughter, music, and anticipation set the tone for what was to come.

The journey unfolded with a fine dining Murder Mystery Dinner where mischief met Michelin-worthy menus, followed by a full day of Franschhoek WineTram adventures, wine painting sessions at Rickety Bridge and Grande Provence and a 5-course sensory experience at Chefs Warehouse at Maison

As the sun set, the group gathered for a fireside storytelling chat, ending the evening with late-night snacks and good company — the perfect close to two days of bonding, reflection, and pure joy.

Every detail was designed to spark connection, creativity, and a little bit of mischief.

Mission accomplished. 🍷🔥

What a thrill it was to see our vision for a Bridgerton-themed dinner party come alive last night at the perfectly suited .cape.town.club where guests were entertained by string quartet with an incredible performance ranging from baroque to modern classics, while .casino.events added an element of excitement. Thanks to for pulling it all together with her special touches. YES! Bring on year end season!
