AN EVENING UNDER THE STARS
Join us at Casalinga in Muldersdrift for a special evening of stargazing, family, friends and the wonders of the night sky.
Enjoy a meal or drink at the restaurant, or bring a takeaway and relax with a picnic on the lawns before the stargazing begins.
What you’ll see:
• The Moon’s craters and valleys through powerful telescopes
• Take a photo of the Moon through a telescope using your phone
• Saturn - you'll even see the rings around the planet!
• Star clusters and asterisms
• Constellations and double stars
• A laser-guided tour of the night sky
Your guide, Vicus Cruywagen, is a passionate telescope maker and avid skywatcher who will share fascinating insights and help bring the night sky to life.
