We have officially picked the very last strawberries of the season. A huge thank you to everyone who visited and made this harvest so sweet. The strawberry picking season is now officially closed.

We are now operating BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We are no longer open for general walk-ins.

Whether you are planning a private birthday picnic, a corporate team build, a family reunion, or a wedding, you can now enjoy the peace and privacy of the farm all to yourself.

Looking for the perfect spot to spend the Day of Reconciliation? Escape the city and unwind at The Cradle Berry Farm, picking delicious strawberries.

Entry is just R100 per adult and R70 per child. You can eat as many strawberries as you like while on the farm, and you pay R100 per kg for what you choose to take home.

Bring your picnic or grab a bite from our Cafe Fordsburg . It’s the perfect setting to celebrate togetherness.

This overcast, cool weather makes picking even more fun—you can enjoy the fields and hunt for the perfect red berries without the hot sun beating down. It’s the ultimate chill Sunday activity.

3. Recharge: Let the little ones run free while you hide out in the forest shade or treat yourself at the Massage Therapy Center.
