This beautiful stand was designed and built to reflect the essence of Southern Spoor’s offering – authentic, immersive, and rooted in the rich landscapes and experiences of Africa. From the natural textures and warm wood finishes to the clean, inviting layout, every element was carefully considered to create a space that feels both premium and welcoming.

More than just a stand, this was a storytelling environment – a space where conversations begin, connections are made, and journeys are inspired.

A Morning of Courage, Connection and Community in Mossel Bay

Yesterday, Chat’r Xperience had the immense honour of sponsoring the guest speaker for the DA Mayor Dirk Kotzé Executive Mayor of Mossel Bay Municipality Mayoral Charity Breakfast, hosted at the Mossel Bay Golf Club.

We were proud to bring to our community Stephen McGown, the world’s longest surviving Al-Qaeda hostage, who endured six years and eight months in captivity in the Sahara Desert.

Stephen’s story is one of extraordinary resilience, courage and the strength of the human spirit.

Guests were deeply moved as he shared his journey, and the interactive Q&A session that followed created a truly meaningful connection with the audience. From all accounts, it was the largest attendance in the history of the Mayoral Breakfasts, making the morning even more special.

All proceeds from the event go towards the Executive Mayor’s charity initiatives, and we are incredibly proud to have contributed to such a worthy cause.

A heartfelt thank you to Stephen for travelling to Iconic Mossel Bay and for so generously sharing your story with our community. Your presence ensured the success of a truly memorable event.
