🌟 Exciting Announcement from Chat’r Xperience 🌟

It is with great pride that we share that our Founder & CEO, John Arvanitakis, BA, CEPA has been elected to serve on the Council of Event Professionals (CEPA) Board for a two-year term, commencing 1 September 2025.

This recognition by SACIA is not only a testament to John’s leadership and expertise but also reflects Chat’r’s ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the events industry.

John will be joining an incredible group of industry leaders, including:
• Angelique Smith (Chair)
• Phoebe Phokompe (Vice-Chair)
• Lisa Charmaine Welthagen
• Glenn van Eck
• Rudi van der Vyver
• Tebatso Kgakge

Together, the new CEPA council will be driving ambitious initiatives, including African outreach, youth development, training, certification, and advocacy — all to strengthen and grow the events industry across the continent and beyond.

At Chat’r Xperience, we are thrilled to see John bring his passion and vision to this role, and we look forward to supporting the CEPA board as it shapes the future of our industry.
