Winter in the Garden Route isn’t quite what many people expect… 🌞🌊

Today we hosted a beautiful picnic in 23°C sunshine - proof that beach picnics are still very much on the cards during the cooler months. 🤍

One of the things we love most about the Garden Route is its fairly mild winter climate, which means there are still plenty of gorgeous days to enjoy the outdoors.

If you’re thinking of booking a winter picnic, we usually recommend planning it for around midday (roughly 12pm onwards), when the day is at its warmest and the sunshine is at its best. 🧺✨

So don’t pack away the picnic dreams just because it’s winter. 😉
