It is with great disappointment that we must inform you that the Red Carpet Premium Sale, scheduled for tomorrow, 14 June 2025 at EnGedi, has been cancelled.

This difficult decision follows the official notice we received today from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. According to the attached government circular, the EnGedi location now falls within the 5 km Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) “Red Zone” due to a confirmed outbreak in Rietfontein.

As breeders and organisers, we — together with CDP Auctioneers — take biosecurity and the health of our national herd extremely seriously. We want to reassure all our clients and supporters that none of our animals are affected, and that we have complied fully with all veterinary regulations and movement restrictions up to this point.

Unfortunately, this situation is completely outside of our control.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
