As a , the thing I would like my daughters learn from me is the value of sisterhood, not only between them as sisters but also with other girls. We have the power to instill beliefs and ideas that will make them strong, independent women's women.
We need to teach our girls to have one another's backs and not to see every other girl as competition or a threat. They need to know that sisterhood, having a tribe, is about having a net to catch you when you fall and a hand to help you up when you stumble. Your tribe holds you together when you feel your most broken, your tribe will lift you up when the world lets you down.
