Meet Nomusa, Keeper of the Waters. She has greeted every sunrise before our guests awaken, her clay vessel carrying the timeless story of Africa. In many traditions, water is a gift of life, and the one who carries it brings welcome, peace, and abundance. As you pass her in our courtyard, may you leave behind the rush of the world and step into the spirit of Ubuntu. ♥️🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

With an imbiza (traditional clay pot) balanced gracefully upon her head, she stands as a quiet guardian of our courtyard. Across many African cultures, carrying water is more than a daily task. It is a symbol of life, resilience, hospitality, and the strength of the women who have nurtured families and communities for generations.

As the gentle sound of flowing water fills the air, we hope it washes away the dust of your journey and invites a slower rhythm. Here, every guest is welcomed with the spirit of Ubuntu: “I am because we are.”

May her peaceful presence remind you that you are no longer just passing through. You have arrived home. ✨
