On 22 July 2026, we had the privilege of celebrating the beautiful union of Lizelle and Jakobus here at The Forest Walk Venue.

Their wedding was a stunning blend of elegance and rustic charm, where dramatic black draping created a sophisticated atmosphere that paired perfectly with our signature rustic table décor. The result was a timeless and unforgettable setting filled with warmth, romance, and character.

One of the most special moments of the day was their heartfelt handfasting ceremony—an ancient tradition symbolising the joining of two lives, two hearts, and two families. It was a beautiful reminder that love is not only spoken through vows but also through meaningful traditions.
