10 years ago, Urban Motion started in a dusty garage on our farm, with white couches covered in old sheets, big dreams, and absolutely no idea where the journey would take us.

Today, we create events, experiences, and moments across South Africa that I could never have imagined back then.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the events. It’s the people. The clients who trusted us, the partners who believed in us, and the incredible people who helped build this journey.

A special thank you to my business partner Francois, my parents Danie and Naomi, Alma, Blythe and Nkosinathi, Verona and Gretchen whose hard work and dedication help bring our vision to life every day. Thank you to Carel Nolte and the CN&CO family for your guidance, support and belief in me over the years.
