HAPPY WOMXNS DAY from the VENUS PROJECT TEAM ❤️❤️❤️
This picture was taken last year at the Womxn’s day event organized by the 💪🏿💪🏽💪🏻 we miss hanging out with strong queens like this!
Womxn’s day South Africa started to commemorate when almost 20,000 women marched against the law that forced black people to carry a pass. We celebrate those womxn, the ones who came before us and whose shoulders we stand on today. We would not be where we are today without the fight of our ancestors. And the fight is not over. There is still so much inequality we must work to overcome. Continue to educate yourself and your circle about racism and sexism and ableism and homophobia, etc. We can and must do better! Let’s keep fighting so future generations can stand on our shoulders and have a better life. What are we doing to be strong ancestors for future female leaders?
