A design can be a fantastic creation of your imagination, a living sculpture, an ode to nature, but if the foundation of such an arrangement is not solid, with flowers toppling out of the foam, not enough water in the container; the flower arrangement is out of balance and the colour combination not successful, the aim of arranging fails miserably. The first step in achieving wonderful designs, is

studying the basic principles of techniques and good workmanship. To master the skills necessary to become a successful floral artist needs constant practice. At the Academy you'll be taught how to choose your flowers, master the basic assembly techniques, the universal principles of good floral art design, and the pleasing combination of different colours.
