The current owner, Sonja Wentzel, decided 3 years ago to make her dream of owning an events venue a reality, and purchased the property in 2018. Staying true to the core business in the Schagen Valley, FastCrops Nursery established their Macadamia nursery on Alkmaar Draai, which produces up to 80,000 grafted and ungrafted Macadamia seedlings annually. • 7 large, fully furnished, self-catering, en-suite rooms of 50sqm each.
• 7 smaller, fully furnished, self-catering, en-suite rooms of 40sqm each.
• 10 comfortable, fully furnished, self-catering, en-suite rondawels of 45sqm each. Each of the furnished rooms include the following amenities: television with OVHD satellite, fully equipped kitchenette, sofa/sleeper couch, cupboards, ceiling fan, dining and seating space. These rooms are ideal for long term rentals, or can also be used by contractors who require a bit more comfort. Accommodation in homes include:
• 3 comfortable, unfurnished log homes with up to 4 bedrooms for families who stay with us for 12 months or more.
• 1 gorgeous, unfurnished cottage on our dam, ideal for a bachelor or couple who stay with us for 12 months or more.
• 2 attached, furnished cottage homes for group accommodation, specifically catering for contractors who need accommodation for worker groups of up to 20 persons. The retail centre is host to:
