The Silent March against GBV by Lioness in Heels was a powerful act of remembrance, resistance, and resolve. In silence, women spoke volumes — honouring lives lost and demanding safety, dignity, and justice.

The moment evolved into something just as intentional: a celebration of talent, creativity, and enterprise. Because economic emancipation is not separate from the fight — it is the fight. When women are resourced, visible, and paid, they are harder to silence.

A DAY THAT MEANT SOMETHING.💜💜💜

Last month, Lioness in Heels created a space for real conversations about GBV and real opportunities for women to stand in their power.

Ten local women were given exhibition stalls — not as charity, but as belief.
Belief in economic emancipation, independence, and the dignity that comes with being able to earn, showcase, and be supported.

We’re grateful to MC Lebo Molax, whose heart for the cause showed in every moment he held the room with care, respect, and intention.

Lioness in Heels believes that when women are supported economically, they are stronger, safer, and more confident.
On that day, we didn’t just talk about empowerment — we lived it.

Thank you to every woman who showed up, shared space, and chose courage.💜💜💜

Lioness in Heels came together because a team chose to work with purpose.

Every detail was intentional — not just to create a memorable experience, but to make sure Gender-Based Violence was not ignored, softened, or pushed aside for comfort. While people gathered, celebrated, and supported women-owned businesses, this team remained clear on why the space mattered.

They understood that advocacy does not pause because there is music.
That awareness must exist even in moments of joy.

Even now, the work remains relevant. GBV is still a reality, and the responsibility to speak, act, and stand does not expire with an event date.

We acknowledge a team that stayed grounded, committed, and accountable — ensuring Lioness in Heels carried meaning beyond the room and beyond December.💜💜

The Lioness in Heels march was a collective cry of women who refuse to be silenced. With every step, we honour the strength of women, the innocence of children, and the urgent truth that their lives must be protected.

We stand in solidarity with every family who has lost a daughter, a sister, a mother, or a child to gender-based violence. Your pain is seen. Your loss is not forgotten.💜💜💜

This movement will echo beyond borders, across South Africa and the African continent, until safety, dignity, and justice are no longer privileges but rights. Lionesses rise — not just for themselves, but for generations to come.

Lioness in Heels at Banquet Hall, Vryburg was a day that will stay with us for a long time. The performances moved us, the women-owned exhibitions reminded us of our power, and the silent march reminded us why we must keep showing up to fight Gender-Based Violence.

What happened in that room didn’t end there. Conversations about Lioness in Heels travelled to national and continental spaces, proving that voices from small towns carry big truth.

This wasn’t just a moment — it was purpose, resistance, and unity in action.
